Preston Court Wedding // Susanna & Pierre
A Victorian carousel, Dutch dance hall organs, an oast house, ancient oak beams, peacocks and a collection of vintage steam engines . A seemingly random bunch of things, but actually the beautifully cohesive location that is Preston Court wedding venue in Kent. There’s also a lake with a pretty bridge for outdoor ceremonies and should you want to marry in a church, there’s also one of those here too, a tiny ancient Saxon one at that. Susanna and Pierre were obviously won over by this fantastically unique venue as they chose to hold their August wedding there, and luckily for me, they asked me to document the day. An outdoor ceremony in the dappled afternoon sunlight was followed by an Iranian buffet, a few toasts were made and a tantalising array of Indian food was served. The atmosphere was relaxed, kids ran around chasing peacocks and everyone enjoyed the late afternoon sun. As night fell, the dance floor filled and the party took place under twinkling fairy lights. My first wedding at Preston Court but I hope the first of many. A few favourites from this Kent wedding are below.
