Camden Town Hall Wedding // Emma & Maja
One stinkingly hot Saturday in July, Emma and Maja got married at Camden Town Hall before partying in a low key, laid back party at Earl Haig Hall. The girls rocked up for the ceremony in the van that they operate Emma’s removals business, Van Girls, from. After the legal bit in Camden Town Hall, there was an all-guest singalong to Bridge Over Troubled Water before the girls exited under a unique arch of axes, held aloft by Maja’s colleagues in the Fire Service. On to Earl Haig Hall, a working men’s club in Crouch End, where a laid back afternoon rolled out. There were no great plans or timetables to stick to, just laughter and drinks, as guests spilled out on the pavement in the hot afternoon sun. No sit down meal, dinner was ‘Build a Burger’, before speeches and a game of everyone’s favourite childhood quiz show, Blockbusters, under a ceiling of stars. Cakes, dancing and drinking followed, making it a celebration of epic proportions for these two and their friends.
