Babington House // Charlotte & Andy
Babington House weddings are in a class of their own; the house itself is stunning and oozes old school glamour and weddings there have a relaxed and effortless charm to them. Charlotte & Andy’s wedding took place on a warm August afternoon in the gardens of the house with 100 or so of their nearest and dearest in attendance. The guys got ready in one of Babington’s walled garden rooms, whilst Charlotte and the girls took the opulent Playroom. Charlotte is a makeup artist and did the make up for all her girls, as well as her own, before getting into her frankly rather amazing dress and cape combo from Mirror Mirror Couture. The humanist wedding ceremony took place on the lawns, a lovely setting with summer flowers and white balloons. Following that, there was a drinks reception in the garden, with music provided by their friend and his guitar, before dinner in the main house. A heaving cheese table was provided along with homemade ‘Cheese Appreciation Society’ badges for the cheese fiends. The evening party got under way, with music provided by a DJ, and the dance floor soon filled. A great day with Charlotte & Andy for their Babington House wedding.
